The flag is shaped like the Ohio flag, purple, with a yellow border and the township logo placed near the hoist. The final flag design is more elaborate than reported by Valentin. On 14 July 2010, Tammy Proctor reports in "The Suburbanite", with photo, the unveiling of the flag of Jackson Township. There are another 36 Jackson Townships in Ohio. Jackson Township (37,744 inhabitants in 2000: 9,610 ha) is one of the seventeen townships of Stark County.
